I am using RemoteApps on Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise. I would like to limit each user to a single logon or session per server. When I look in the list of active sessions in Remote Desktop Services Manager some users are listed multiple times, most listed as Disconnected. I want all users to login once and if a session is dropped then it reconnects to the original session, not start a fresh one.

Hi Mel.

Have you checked if the option to Restrict each user to a single session is set to Yes in the Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration?
