i have sbs 2008 and used wizard to setup vpn. i opened firewall ports and it connects. outlook takes many minutes to work. it says 'trying to connect' but works some minutes later. can you help me make it work faster?

Hi Ziggy.
What speed connection do you have at either end? The upstream speed of the connections could be a factor.

at both ends i have 8mbps adsl. before i used windows 2003 sbs and it was not slow.

Is it just Outlook / Exchange that is slow over the VPN? Can you browse a company intranet or browse folders on the server? If so, how do these perform?
