I have a problem with a new Exchange 2007 server. It is setup and working but won't send any external mail. I've checked in the queue viewer and when I click the messages that are waiting it says this:

Last Error: A matching connector cannot be found to route the external recipient

I'm new to 2007 so can't find much in the management console of any use. Where do I start looking to fix this? Thanks for help in advance!

I'd start by checking the send connector. Open Exchange Management Console then expand Organization Configuration -> Hub transport. Click the Send Connectors tab and check that you have a send connector present and it is enabled.

Let us know how you get on :)

Hi Dave.

There wasn't a connector in there, so I created one and now I can send mail. Should this have been created during the installation or is it something every exchange admin has to do on a new server?

Thanks for the pointers.

im sure you are using yahoo mail plus. 0x800ccc0F has something to do with your anti-virus program. there is a setting in your anti -virus that needs to be disabled. check also your webmail if you receive a message that has a large attachment. this also cause a problem. you need to delete that message if not add it in your personal folder list .
