My first post here...

I have configured a scheduled task in Windows 2008 R2 to run an executbale file. However, it fails every time with this error message:

Task Scheduler failed to start <my app> task for user <my user>. Additional Data: Error Value: 2147943785

I can run the application manually with no problem. Any ideas anyone?

I believe this error means the user doesn't have access to run the program. You may need to grant additional rights locally on that server.
